Opposition to oppose the proposed tax bills

The main opposition party DRP has announced its opposition to the proposed income tax and the introduction of Goods and Services Tax.
Presently there is no income tax and GST in the country. The reason for its opposition towards GST, according to the DRP officials, is because the Government is adamant that the tax should come into effect immediately while it was seeking a 6 month delay.
